Professor Jamey Harlow is an innovative leader with experience designing and teaching courses in a higher education setting. She currently teaches English and Humanities at South Piedmont Community College. She has worked with students and faculty from diverse academic, cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. This past year she put her experience in curriculum and instruction to work serving as a faculty fellow at SPCC. She has presented professional development at state and national conferences this year. Jamey says her teaching philosophy is constantly evolving, but her ultimate goal remains the same—finding ways to encourage, engage, and empower learners.
