Being married in the entertainment industry is challenging, as many marriages end in divorce. It’s even more difficult when you’re a high profile celebrity.   Married since December 10, 2005 - Garth and Trisha have been happily married for 17 years; they met when they both came to Nashville in the 1980s to pursue music and sang demos together. They were friends for many years.

  Married since December 4, 1971 - This amazing couple has been married for 52 years. The couple are high school sweethearts. They eloped in Mexico before George enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Hawaii.
• Dolly Parton and Carl Dean

  Married since May 30, 1966 - They married in Ringold, Georgia. Dolly and Carl, who famously stays out of the spotlight, have been married for 57 years. On their 50th wedding anniversary, the couple renewed their wedding vows in a ceremony with family and friends near the Nashville home they have shared since 1969.

  Married since October 6, 1997 - The couple met and started to date on McGraw's "Spontaneous Combustion" tour in 1996. They have three grown daughters together and celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary this October.
