At Marvel’s panel at the San Diego Comic-Con today, Marvel CEO Kevin Feige shared a lot of new information, including that “phase 4” comes to a close with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which hits theaters November 11 (scroll down for the trailer), and that “phase 5” starts with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which hits theaters Febraury 23, 2023. And we learned a bit about some of the new (and previously announced) “phase 5” projects. Not to mention that they’re well into planning “phase 6.” Here are some of the highlights.

  • She-Hulk trailer

We saw more of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law” in the new trailer, including scenes of Jennifer (She-Hulk) Walters (Tatiana Maslany) with her cousin Bruce (the Hulk) Banner (Mark Ruffalo), as well as Emil (The Abomination) Blonsky (played by Tim Roth, last seen in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk). We also see scenes with Benedict Wong’s Wong, from Doctor Strange (and who has appeared in a few other Marvel films), and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil (who seems to be getting a lot of love from Marvel in the next few years; more on that below).

  • Secret Invasion is coming in the spring

The previously announced Secret Invasion, starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos: the leader of a Skrull sect (who we first met in Captain Marvel), Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, Martin Freeman as C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and Don Cheadle as James “Rhodey” Rhodes (aka the Avenger War Machine) is coming in the spring.

  • Guardians Vol 3 is the end of an era

Guardians of the Galaxy director/writer James Gunn was present to discuss the next film in the franchise, and confirmed that it would be his last; he reiterated that he always saw it as being a trilogy. And, of course, he’s busy with DC these days, having wrote and directed the recent Suicide Squad film and the spinoff TV series Peacemaker. It doesn’t seem that the characters are being killed off, though, so Marvel can still use them in the future. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters May 5, 2023.

  • Echo's spinoff

Echo, introduced in the Hawkeye miniseries, will air in the summer of 2023. Alaqua Cox plays Maya (Echo) Lopez, a deaf Native American who is a fierce fighter. The cast includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin, Lopez’s adoptive uncle, a crime lord in New York. Fisk appeared in the last episode of Hawkeye. It’ll also feature Charlie Cox as Matt (Daredevil) Murdock, who cameoed in Spider-Man: No Way Home. D’Onofrio and Cox are reprising their roles from the Netflix Daredevil show.

  • Loki season 2

Loki was a bit of a game-changer for the Marvel universe, really fleshing out the concept of the multiverse (an idea introduced in Avengers: Endgame and continued in the What If…? miniseries, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness films). Season two is coming next summer.

  • Blade!

Blade, starring Mahershala Ali as the titular vampire hunter, is due in theaters November 23, 2023.

  • Ironheart!

Dominique Thorne will star as Riri (Ironheart) Williams in the series, debuting in fall 2023, but she’ll be introduced in the upcoming Wakanda Forever film.

  • Agatha returns!

Agatha: Coven Of Chaos, a spinoff series of Wandavision starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, debuts in the winter of 2023.

  • The next era of Captain America

Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson went from being the Falcon to the new Captain America in the 2021 series Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Now, his first movie as Cap will be Captain America: New World Order , hitting theaters May 3, 2024.

  • Daredevil gets his own series, again.

One of the big surprises of the panel was the announcement of a new Daredevil series: Daredevil: Born Again starring Cox and D’Onofrio. It will debut in the spring of 2024.It’s unknown if it will continue the stories told in the three seasons of Daredevil that aired on Netflix from 2015 through 2018.

  • Who are the Thunderbolts?

A new team, called the Thunderbolts, will have a film hitting theaters on July 26, 2024.

  • The Fantastic Four is coming!

Marvel is rebooting the Fantastic Four, and that movie kicks off phase six. No casting was announced; it’s unknown if John Krasinski, who cameoed as Reed (Mr. Fantastic) Richard in the Dcotor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, will return to play that role. The movie hits theaters on November 8, 2024.

  • The Avengers are returning...

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is due in theaters May 25, 2025.

  • ... for two new films!
