Rob Tanner and his co-hosts Catherine Lane, Chris Allen, and Captain Jim have been making the Carolinas laugh and keep up with everything country for 19 years now. This makes the Tanner In the Morning Show the longest-running morning show in the station’s legendary history. Tanner is well-versed in all topics in country music. Tanner also is a sports junkie who writes about any Carolina sports team, and he and his wife Missy spend most of their down exploring theme parks. He writes Disney insider content.
With the majority of the show born and raised in the Carolinas, they know the community and love to serve it.
These real-life friends have caught some national attention as well. They have won an Academy of Country Music Award for Major Market Personalities of the year, and have 19 nominations in that category from both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. In other words, they know country music and the people who listen to it.
Fun Fact: The show won the CRB Humanitarian Award for its efforts to improve the quality of life for its community.
