Sara Evans Discusses New Album
Sara Evans‘ new album Words comes out July 21 and she’s walking fans through the tracks ahead of time one by one.
The “Suds In The Bucket” singer is posting a series of YouTube videos that share stories behind the songs. “Words actually are so important,” she says while discussing the album’s title, which was taken from one of its songs. “And not just lyrics to a song, but the words you say to people … you can completely lift somebody up so high, or you can just demolish them with your words.” Go inside the new project below.
In another video Sara shares the story behind the debut single “Marquee Sign.” “[The idea of it was] if you had been a marquee sign, I wish I could’ve seen you better before I tied myself to you or got my heart broken by you.” Watch below.
Limited edition “fan packages” of the new album are available for pre-order here. They include a variety of extras such as signed copies of the CD or vinyl, t-shirts, journals and mugs. Sara has a variety of tour dates on the books, too. See a list of upcoming performances here.
