Union County To Hold In-Person Graduation Ceremonies
Graduates will be part of ceremonies in outdoor stadiums
The Union County Schools Board of Education said yesterday there will be in-person high school graduations. This of course goes against North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper’s current coronavirus restrictions.
The board voted 5-4 to go ahead and host a graduations involving all seniors and limited family members. They will take place at each of the school’s outdoor stadiums.
Since this goes against the Governors restrictions will the police enforce the rule? If so, are they going to arrest everybody? Going to put the graduate, Mom, Dad, and Granny in jail? Don’t think so.
What do you think?
