List of All The Black History Month Programming on Pluto TV

Black History Month is an important part of our nation’s history. February 1st marks the start of Black History Month. Starting tomorrow, the free streaming service, Pluto TV, will be celebrating black icons. Pluto TV will feature programming from directors, actors, and musicians to historical legends, all throughout the month of February.

Pluto TV will celebrate Black creators and culture for the entire month by elevating its vast lineup of channels and content available spanning film, comedy, Black entertainment, and more. Learn how you can tune in below. And where would we be without Black musicians? In the Pluto TV Music category, watch videos anytime from current Black artists who continue to elevate the musical landscape you can see below as well.

  • Black Cinema

    Tune in every day at 8 pm ET to the Black Cinema channel for a movie celebrating Black storytelling & artistry.

  • Pluto TV Documentaries and Pluto TV History

    Learn about iconic Black figures & events throughout history on Pluto TV Documentaries and Pluto TV History. The array of films include I Am Not Your Negro, Michelle Obama: Hope Becomes Change, Obama: Building the Dream, The Obamas: Believe, Jackie Robinson My Story, and Muhammad Ali: The Greatest.

  • BET Her

    BET Her will put Black women front of center through a variety of blockbuster hits, classic movies, music, and original series, including Sister Sister, Moesha, BET Music Blocks, BET Presents The Encore, DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic, It’s Showtime at the Apollo, and Soul!

  • Showtime Selects

    On Showtime Selects, Pluto TV will highlight programming including City on a Hill, Ziwe, Desus & Mero, Flatbush Misdemeanors, Attica, You’re Watching Video Music Box, Ricky Powell: The Individualist, Rolling Like Thunder, The One and Only Dick Gregory, Bitchin’: The Sounds and Fury of Rick James, Hitsville: The Making of Motown, and Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics & Men.

  • BBC Kids

    Children will also have the opportunity to engage with the historical month; every Friday at 7 pm ET, the BBC Kids channel will stream Horrible Histories episodes that honor Black historical figures including Jesse Owens, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., and President Obama.
