It’s wonderful to have thriving, successful companies in your state. These companies provide jobs and a boost to the local economies of the cities they call home. But it’s also important to have reputable and trustworthy companies. That’s why the folks at Newsweek, in collaboration with market research company Statista, created their second annual list of the Most Trustworthy Companies In America. The 2023 list includes 700 U.S. Companies across 23 different industries. This is based on evaluations by U.S. customers, employees, and investors all of whom are necessary for businesses to gain the trust of. And of those 700 companies, there are 23 North Carolina companies named as the most trustworthy.
14 of these are located in Charlotte or the immediate surrounding area. The Triangle and Triad as well as Asehville are also represented. The 700 companies on this list came from a pool of 3,100. These were all U.S.-based companies that have revenues of over $500 million. Below you will find the 23 North Carolina companies that were named among the nation’s most trustworthy. Does it matter to you if a company is trustworthy? For me personally, it is more important as a potential employee than as a consumer. In the latter scenario, I’m more apt to buy what fills my need at the right price. Though I know many many individuals to whom it makes a big difference.
