CDC Says 1 in 4 Americans Are Fully Vaccinated

We now have more hope that soon things can go back to normal. More than 25% of Americans are now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

This means that 1 in 4 Americans are now fully vaccinated and over 50% of adults have taken at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to CDC data. As of this week, all 50 states have opened up vaccine eligibility for everyone over the age of 16.

As of right now, two vaccine options are being administered in the U.S. These include the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. The use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will not be used until the cases of blood clots are further investigated. All six cases that experienced blood clots were women between the ages of 18 and 48 and all of them developed the illness within one to three weeks of vaccination. One woman died and a second woman has been hospitalized in critical condition.
