Charlotte Has Been Ranked The Most Socially-Conscious City In America
The Queen City has been ranked as the #1 socially-conscious city in America, according to the fifth annual Conscious Consumer Spending Index. Other cities ranked in this list include Atlanta at #8, Raleigh at #12 and Los Angeles at #23.
According to their press release, “Charlotte came out on top as America’s most socially responsible city. Long Beach, Oakland, Virginia Beach, and Seattle rounded out the top five. Charlotte’s second-place finish in all three categories propelled it to the top spot overall.”
The study included an analysis of 5,096 Americans and asked questions about purchasing habits, charitable giving, and environmental practices.
