We knew this was coming. And though we were trying to avoid it, it’s here and official.
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper announced today (3/17) that he will order all bars and restaurants to close for dine-in guests at 5 p.m. This social distancing is a way to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
You will be happy to know, that bars and restaurants will still be allowed to process takeout and delivery orders. This executive order also includes an expansion of unemployment benefits to help workers affected by a coronavirus.
