Reba Is Coming Back To TV
It’s been way too long.
Everybody loved Reba when she starred in her show from 2001 to 2006. It’s time for more Reba. We will get it soon.
Reba McEntire is set to star in a television series based on the novel and 1987 movie, Fried Green Tomatoes. The show will be produced by McEntire, and Norman Lear. The television version will find a present-day Idgie Threadgoode, played by McEntire, who is returning to Whistle Stop after ten years away. According to Variety, Threadgoode “must wrestle with a changed town, estranged daughter, faltering cafe and life-changing secret.”
Do you think it is a good idea to try to fill the shoes of an iconic movie with a TV series?
