Overall the most expensive suburb in all of the U.S. is Montecito, California with a recent median sale price of over $5 million. Other pricey suburbs of note include Palm Beach, Florida, West University Place in Texas, Rye, New York, and Brentwood, Tennessee.
In NC, Lake Norman takes the win with an average sale price of over 750K! In SC it’s Isle of Palms. This South Carolina city, located on a barrier island, has the most expensive real estate value in the state at $1,325,000.
