Country Music’s Travis Tritt Drops All Anheuser-Busch Products
After Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney Campaign As Bud Light promoted transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney, country singer-songwriter Travis Tritt declared on Twitter that he would remove Anheuser-Busch goods from his tour hospitality rider.
Travis said “I will be deleting all Anheuser-Busch products from my tour hospitality rider. I know many other artists who are doing the same.” Fox News says, later Tritt returned to Twitter with a picture of RuPaul’s Drag Race show teaming up with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey. “All the Jack Daniels drinkers should take note,” he captioned the photo.
Tritt is the latest celebrity to criticize Bud Light’s and Mulvaneys “365 Days of Girlhood” promotion, drawing social media criticism. Given its lackluster reception, several users suspected an April Fool’s trick. Where do you stand? Do you support Tritt’s boycott of Anheuser-Busch?
Other artists who are deleting Anheuser-Busch products from their hospitality rider might not say so in public for fear of being ridiculed and cancelled. I have no such fear. https://t.co/YgjO9P03tR
