Going to events can be expensive, especially when it’s a championship-type game. But just how expensive can it be? To answer that question, SlotsOnlineCanada compiled a list of top mega sporting events, taking into account the date of the event and the average ticket price per sport. The goal? To find out the most expensive professional sports tickets. This comes as WWE’s biggest show of the year fast approaches. Just how expensive are WrestleMania tickets when compared to other major sporting events?
The top spot in this shouldn’t surprise anyone with the Super Bowl claiming the title. It’s a game that is on my bucket list but I’m not sure I could ever be convinced to shell out that kind of money. I’d hate to pay thousands of dollars for my team to lose! Though the experience would be incredible no matter what. And these prices are without taking into account hotel and travel costs.
I do have to wonder how this list would shape up if college sports were included, we know the insane prices people paid for Coach K’s final game in Cameron Indoor Stadium, and the College Football Playoff games I’m sure come with a hefty price tag. That being said, boxing, wrestling, basketball, and baseball all made the list. Along with The Masters, Wimbledon, the Kentucky Derby, and to my surprise cricket.
