It’s official from Bon Appetit magazine that Charlotte’s Supperland restaurant is one of the Top 10 Best New Restaurants in the country.
Last week, the magazine released its Top 50 Best New Restaurants in the country online. The Top 10 have been announced in its print magazine. It’s on the newsstands now.
Supperland opened in the Plaza Midwood community in March 2021. Bon Appetit has nothing but great things to say about the restaurant, including how they offer generous portions. For example, their small plate of meatballs isn’t small at all. They come glazed in a Memphis-style cherry barbecue sauce and eight to an order. Bon Appetit praised Superland for their service, too. Servers are always glad to help.
Jeff Tonidandel and his wife Jamie Brown co-own the restaurant and couldn’t be more thrilled. Brown says,“We know what we’re capable of, and we want to push and inspire our team to create something even more beautiful. And I know we can.”
Executive chef Chris Rogienski was thrilled, too:“ This is hard to put into words. It means so much to me.”
