Morgan Wallen’s team denies rumors of him being too drunk to perform in Oxford, Mississippi. Wallen canceled the concert due to a lost voice just before he was scheduled to perform at the University of Mississippi’s Vaught Hemingway Stadium.
Stereogum says a security guard from the show said the singer was too drunk to perform. “Losing his voice is bullcrap,” the guard told the singer’s fans; he said Wallen “couldn’t walk” and was taken away in an ambulance.
BEST Crowd Management, who handled security for the show, denied the employee’s story as “false” on Instagram.
Morgan Wallen's 'One Thing At A Time' Album Is Out
Morgan Wallen releases his 36-song album One Thing At A Time today (3/3), and tonight he plays a free arena show concert for fans in Nashville.
When he announced the new project, he said in a statement, “This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows. It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative, and hip-hop. There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music, and production ideas, and these are the songs that felt right to me. It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back in the studio to lay this out for my fans.”
