Kelly Clarkson Speaks Out After Talk Show Staff Allege Toxic Work Environment
The Boot has Kelly Clarkson’s response to reports of a toxic work environment on her talk show. The singer and TV personality posted a statement on social media Friday saying she has always, “led with my heart and what I believed to be right … And to find out that anyone is feeling unheard and or disrespected on this show is unacceptable.”
Rolling Stone exposed a difficult work environment on Clarkson’s show where employees are overworked, underpaid, and dealing with mental health issues. Former employees said they brought issues to HR, with no results. As Kelly moves her show from LA to NY she says, “There is always room to grow and ensure we are all being/becoming the best version of ourselves in any business, especially when it comes to leadership, to ensure that any notion of toxicity is eradicated.”
