El Salvador Funeral Home Is Offering A Unique Pink Barbie-Themed Coffin
As Barbie mania continues to sweep the world, one funeral home in El Salvador has boarded the Barbie bandwagon in a big way.
The Alpha and Omega Funeral Home in Ahuachapán is offering pink Barbie-themed coffins. The coffins are for people who want to take their obsession with the pop culture sensation to the afterlife. Each of the metal caskets is decorated with stars and features lining imprinted with pictures of Barbie.
According to WCVB, Alpha and Omega owner Isaac Villegas responded with, “I said, ‘We have to jump on this trend,'”
The funeral home owner says he’s already sold 10 of the coffins. “It has been a success.”
The coffin is the latest piece of bizarre Barbie merchandise to be released in Latin America. There have also been such products as Barbie lunchboxes, pink tacos, and pastries. Even Barbie-themed airplanes.
I guess if you are a superfan that may be what you’re looking for as a final resting place. I would believe that there would be a lot of chuckles at the service with a Barbie-themed casket. But hey to each his own. I have seen some stories of people being buried in many odd coffins. Many people are also buried with odd things inside the casket.

Joining Margot Robbie’s Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie is Ryan Gosling, who will play Ken after a five-year hiatus from acting.
A first-look photo of Gosling in full character was released today (June 15), donning a sleeveless Canadian tuxedo, Calvin Klein-inspired underwear, an orange-hued tan and platinum locks.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Barbie represents the first time the toy has been rendered as a live-action movie, but has been in development for eight years and underwent many changes, with Amy Schumer and Anne Hathaway circling the role during the script’s previous iterations. Back in April, the project released a photo of Margot Robbie. The film’s supporting cast includes America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Rhea Perlman and Will Ferrell.
