If you haven’t guessed, I’m (Charlie) a movie fanatic.
The more I follow the biz, the more I come across little, potential gems like this. J.K. Simmons is one of the best character actors in the biz (see “Whiplash”), so anything he’s in, I’m intrigued by.
This film is called “The Bachelors.”
“After the death of his wife, Bill and his 17-year-old son, Wes, move from a small town to a big city for a fresh start. As they begin to adjust to life in the city and seek ways to heal their wounds, they both find comfort in newfound romances. Although circumstances contribute to Bill and Wes growing apart, they come back together and rediscover their true selves in the process.”
This looks like a small, sweet movie that would be great for date night. However, apparently, it’s already come and gone from theaters without so much as a commercial see on TV!
So look for this to be on Netflix or available for download soon.
