After “Breakfast”

Over the holidays we started to introduce our son to some of the seminal, teen movies of the 1980s that we grew up with-specifically, the “Brat Pack” movies (St. Elmo’s Fire, Sixteen Candles, Pretty In Pink, etc.).
We started with one of Debbie’s faves, “The Breakfast Club.”
As we were watching it, the obvious question of “Where are they now?” came up when it came to the cast of Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, and Emilio Estevez.
In terms of the latter…apparently in the not too distant future Charlie Sheen’s older brother will be seen as the head of public library who has a HUGE ethical decision to make.
And with as cold as it’s been here lately, this hits a little close to home.
This is “The Public”
