Shannen Doherty Shares She’s Been in Touch With Luke Perry: ‘He’s My Dylan’
Shannen Doherty says she’s been in touch with former Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Luke Pery since his “massive” stroke last week.
Entertainment Tonight spoke with Doherty at the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation’s Compassion Project Gala, where she revealed that she has been in contact with Perry since his health crisis Monday.
“I can’t talk about it here cause I will literally start crying but I love him and he knows I love him,” she said. “It’s Luke, and he’s my ‘Dylan.'”

Doherty and Perry played love interests Dylan McKay and Brenda Walsh on the series. Since then, they’ve remained close and Doherty paid tribute to him on Instagram when the news broke.

Doherty, who previously battled breast cancer that spread to her lymph nodes, asked fans to pray for Perry and to “just keep [sending] positive wonderful thoughts.”
Perry remains hospitalized.
