Meet Two Lane Hometown Legend Jordan
Each week in collaboration with Two Lane Lager we are honoring a local hometown legend. This week’s honoree is Jordan from Afton Pub & Pizza.
My boss, Jordan runs Afton Pub & Pizza in Concord. She is always looking for ways to be a part of the community and is involved in school sponsorships all over the county. During Covid, she opened for thanksgiving where she and her husband cooked a full Thanksgiving meal for employees and customers who were unable to travel and gather with their family’s for the holiday and when restaurants were shut down she found work for anyone who wanted it so that nobody was jobless. She has also made a point to let us know that if we or anyone we know is hungry she will always provide meals for those in need, no questions asked. Any opportunity she has to donate meals for first responders, police, schools she is first to show up with bells on. She’s a mother of 2 and somehow is always at work, she’s the best boss any of us have ever worked for, and she’s a genuinely amazing person who goes above and beyond to show how much she loves her community.
