See The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile While It’s In Charlotte
The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was spotted at Berewick Harris Teeter in southwest Charlotte Tuesday and will be making additional stops around the area beginning Wednesday, November 16.
According to the company’s website, the Wienermobile is scheduled to be at Harris Teeter in northwest Charlotte Wednesday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The address is 4701 Smith Farm Road.
The Wienermobile will also be in Waxhaw 7 a.m.-10 a.m Saturday for the Gingersnap 5K at 202 W. South Main St.
Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobiles have been around since the 1930s. The operators who drive the giant vehicles are known as “Hotdoggers.” There have been quite a few different Weiner vehicles throughout the years. The original Weinermobile was turned into metal during World War II.
