Meet The Winner of The Cutest Cat Contest By North Carolina’s Largest Newspaper

I have a love/not love relationships with felines. I think they are absolutely beautiful. I think their attitude is cool but I'm allergic. I get the love of cats. If you are cat lover, you have got to meet the winner of the cutest cat contest. Meet The Winner Of The Cutest Cat Contest Our source, The Charlotte Observer had well over a hundred entries for the cutest cat in the North Carolina area. But one is more purrfect than the other. "Weez" took the crown for the cutest cat in the Queen City. And Weez is still rocking the cuteness at the age of 17. "She's Very Famous" One of the best things about Weez is, she is a shelter cat. Her mom Sal rescued her from a shelter in Boone when she was a student at Appalachian State University. And not only has Weez bonded with this first grade teacher at Trinity Episcopal School in uptown Charlotte, she has also bonded with the students. Sal Marshall is quoted in the Charlotte Observer, “She’s very famous in my world,” “She comes into the classroom and visits with the kids all the time. She’s basically a therapy cat. When I bring her into the classroom, she is so sweet and so chill. She’ll jump up on the couch, sit there and watch them as they’re working. It keeps them really quiet, because I tell them that she has sensitive ears, so they’re actually the best behaved when she is here.” So how did this sweet little kitty get the name Wheez? The explanation is not rocket science. Sal says she literally wheezes. That was one easy to name cat. And she loves bubble wrap!
