Turnpike Troubadours Say “Medical Emergency” Is The Reason For Show Cancellations
Recently, we reported the Turnpike Troubadours had canceled their performance on the last few remaining stops on the ‘Bandwagon Tour.’
Now, news has just surfaced that the band has been forced to cancel even more appearances.
According to Saving Country, the band shocked fans when they canceled another show today.
As of this morning, their show in Wayne, Nebraska was still on.
By this afternoon, it was a different story.
The reason for the last minute cancelation was again due to a “medical emergency.”
Their show in Columbia, Missouri scheduled for Friday has also been canceled.
Turnpike Troubadours also backed out of performances on September 1 and September 2.
In a statement to their fans, the band addressed the recent cancellations by saying they apologize but need the additional time off to work on some family and medical issues.
After this round of shows that are now canceled, they have some time off — Which they plan to use to regroup as a band.
They appreciate everyone’s support.
It’s not known at this time if the cancellations have anything to do with Evan Felker’s recent split from Miranda Lambert — Or if Staci. his now ex-wife, is experiencing medical issues again. The medical emergency could also be related to a different band member entirely.
