Robert De Niro Being Sued By Former Assistant For Harassment, Discrimination
Robert De Niro is being sued for sexual harassment and verbal abuse by his former assistant, Graham Chase Robinson, according to ABC News. Additionally, the gossip site TMZ reports that Robinson says the actor communicated with her in a “hostile, abusive, and intimidating way,” often referring to her as a “bitch” and a “brat.” She adds that she witnessed De Niro refer to a business partner as a “c—.”
Robinson also has voicemails from De Niro. “You f—ing don’t answer my calls? How dare you?? You’re about to be fired. How dare you,” one message said. Another says, “Don’t f—ing get angry with me ’cause I’m pissed off ’cause I didn’t get a single thing that I needed right now.. you gotta be f—ing kidding me, you spoiled brat! F— you!”
Other things Robinson complains about is De Niro making crude jokes, joking with her about his Viagra prescription, urinating during phone calls with her, and asking her to scratch his back. At one point, Robinson claims that De Niro just stood by while a friend of his slapped her butt.
It’s important to note that this is the same assistant who was famously fired back in August for watching 55 episodes of Friends in a four-day period. Robert De Niro is suing Robinson back for multiple things, including embezzlement.
