Flamingo Who Escaped Kansas Zoo 17 Years Ago Spotted In Texas
According to KMBC TV, an infamous escaped flamingo nicknamed ‘Pink Floyd’ has turned up again – this time in Texas. The bird – officially known as ‘No. 492’ – escaped from a Kansas zoo all the way back in 2005, and has since turned up all over the place – including Texas, Louisiana, and Wisconsin. Texas wildlife officials say the video clearly shows Pink Floyd’s leg band.
It’s the first time in nearly two years he’s been spotted. Zoo officials say they have no plans to recapture Pink Floyd. What’s the most unusual animal you’ve seen in the wild?
