Dog Abandoned At North Carolina Park With Bookbag And A Note Is Adopted

According to CBS17, Guilford County Animal Services says a dog that got national press has a new owner. The dog was abandoned at a Greensboro, NC park with a bookbag and note.
Officials with the center said he was left at the park on Halloween and was roaming around looking for his owner. A woman spotted the dog around 3 p.m. that day. The dog called “Houdini” was found with a backpack with all of his belonging inside and a note attached.
As of Saturday, Houdini has a brand new loving home.
Officials with the center have not released what the note said because of an active investigation into finding the owner of Houdini.
