Vanna White is staying put for now. The pride of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina has a new contract. And a new partner on “Wheel of Fortune”.
Vanna will be joining Ryan Seacrest on “Wheel” since her buddy Pat Sajak announced his retirement. This was a good time for Vanna to ask for more money and she got it. It took a minute for this new contract to be sealed but our long national nightmare is over. Vanna got a satisfactory agreement and she will be at the game show for the next three years.
According to USA Today, Vanna got a “significant raise in salary”. Sources close to the South Carolina native revealed that she had been making $3 million per year for almost twenty years without any raises. Pat Sajack reportedly earned 15 million a season.
Season 41 of Wheel of Fortune started filming last week and this will be his last one. Ryan Seacrest will take over as host for season 42. I would love to know what his salary will be but so far that number has not been revealed. To learn more about this story get details in USA Today right here.
