Vanna White is chatting about the Wheel of Fortune salary negotiations that made headlines. It has been a hot topic since Pat Sajack announced his departure. So Vanna White addressed salary negotiations and retirement.
She said, “It was because people just have rumors. Everything is so blown out of proportion, not just with my stuff, with everybody’s stuff.”
She also talked about Pat Sajak retiring and said she thought about it, too. She added, “Of course, it’s a thought. It’s like, ‘Well, wait, if you’re leaving, what am I going to do? How can I stay without you?’ It was a very hard decision for me to make because it definitely crossed my mind. It’s like, ‘I just don’t know if I can do this without you,’ but I thought about it and I’m not ready to retire, so I am staying on.”
Deadline says Sajak will be replaced by Ryan Seacrest following the upcoming season. White will work alongside the American Idol host for at least a year and only has high praise for the incoming host.
