1 Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Recently Purchased In North Carolina Still Not Claimed
According to WFMY, there has recently been a 1 million dollar Mega Millions lottery ticket purchased in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The 1 million dollar lottery ticket recently purchased in North Carolina is still not claimed. The individual who purchased the ticket has around 180 days left to claim the large prize they’ve won from the drawing.
The ticket was purchased from the Sumner Food Mart for $2 on Old Randleman Road.
This ticket won the million-dollar prize because its numbers matched all five white balls selected. The odds of this happening are 1 in 12.6 million.
This was during Friday’s Mega Millions drawing and made North Carolina one of three states that had a million-dollar ticket. The other two winning tickets were purchased in New York and South Carolina.
There were no jackpot winners for Friday’s drawing. This means that the new jackpot is worth $289 million for next Tuesday’s drawing. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302.5 million.
Mega Millions tickets can be purchased from any lottery retail location. They can also be purchased through Online Play on the Mega Millions website or from the NC Lottery Official Mobile App.
