Lanco Scores Their First No. 1
Your very first No. 1 is special. Just ask Lanco.
The five-man band just saw its single “The Greatest Love Story” hit the top spot on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase country airplay chart, and in historic fashion. The song was written by lead singer Brandon Lancaster and it’s the first time in more than 10 years that an artists’ first No. 1 was written solely by that artist, according to the band’s publicist.

“It’s absolutely incredible to write a song that our entire band has believed in since day one … and for our years of hard work to finally pay off,” Brandon says through his publicist. “We built our foundation as a band on ‘Greatest Love Story’ because we believed in the power of country music story telling. To see how much it has resonated with so many people makes us feel little less crazy for believing in it so much.”
