Legal Battle Unfolds After Death Of Daryle Singletary
As you all know by now, Daryle Singletary tragically passed away earlier this week at the age of 46.
His death was unexpected, and the country music community is undoubtedly still mourning his loss.
Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for a legal battle to unfold regarding some of Singletary’s previously unreleased tracks.
According to Taste of Country, “She’s Been Cheatin’ on Us” was released by Platinum Records Nashville this past Wednesday.
According to Greg Hudik, the goal of releasing the track was to give the proceeds to the family.
However, Chuck Rhodes, questioned how the proceeds would be delivered to the family, as he did not believe that a fund had been set up. Rhodes was Singletary’s business partner. Rhodes is threatening to take legal action against Platinum Records Nashville over the release of the track.
