Model Quits Instagram Over Bikini Photo Instagram
This is dramatic.
Model, Natalie Schlater has quit Instagram after receiving criticism for a post she did while on vacation in Bali.
The post of Natalie in a bikini wasn’t the bad thing, it was the caption that went along with the post that got her in trouble. It was comparing her life to a rice picker in Bali.
The caption read, “Thinking about how different my life is from the man picking in the rice field every morning.” While you may not have a problem with the caption, lots of her 12K followers had an issue. They described it as “narcissist,” “insensitive,” and a humble brag.” You can see the photo below.

Natalie did respond to the backlash before apologizing and quitting Instagram by saying she was “misunderstood very well aware and grateful of her privileges.”
