Fort Mill Group Helping To Pay Off Student Lunch Debt

I love this story! Not only because it’s local, but because this is an issue I don’t think many folks think of.

The Fort Mill ‘Ol School Crowd is raising money to cover the balance of overdue lunch accounts for the Fort Mill School District. Approximately $12,000 is owed, and so far the group has raised $5,000.

We say YAY for this group! Good for them and thank you for all you do. We love that former students are helping current students. Kids have a hard enough time without having to worry about where their next meal is coming from and if they can afford it. They shouldn’t need to deal with that.
