Traveling For Labor Day? Expect Record Crowds!
Planning to hop a flight this Labor Day holiday? You might want to get to the airport a bit earlier than normal.
According to a trade group representing US-based airlines, 17.5 million passengers are expected to travel between August 28 and September 3, a four percent increase from last year. Keep this in mind: Friday, August 30 will see the largest crowds, with close to three million taking to the friendly skies, said Airlines for America on Tuesday.
Thanks to fares at or near record lows, demand for travel is strong, Department of Transportation figures show. Are you jetting off this Labor Day?
