Don’t Forget To Flush The Toilets In Florida, Or This May Happen.
A Florida man arrested after an altercation over an unflushed toilet couldn’t have summarized the incident better: “Crap happened.”
Those were the words of 46-year-old Keith Mounts, who shared the comment with Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies after they were called to a home in Hudson, about 30 miles north of Tampa, according to a police report. Apparently Mounts upset the homeowner when he used the bathroom but failed to flush the toilet. When the victim complained, Mounts produced a large machete and threatened to “chop” him into pieces.
After responding officers found the machete in the yard, Mounts said he’d used it only to defend himself. But it was when they asked why he needed to defend himself that Mounts came up with his appropriate comment, his arrest report indicates. He’s currently being held on a $5,000 bond.
