Johnson & Johnson Recalls 33,000 Bottles of Baby Powder
Check your labels!
Johnson & Johnson announced Friday that they are voluntarily recalling over 30,000 baby powder bottles due to “sub-trace levels of chrysotile asbestos contamination” found in a single bottle purchased online. This is the first time Johnson & Johnson is recalling its popular baby powder due to asbestos concerns in over 130 years. They commented in a recent news release that the FDA tested its products a month ago and found no asbestos. The company is recalling the United States Lot #22318RB of Johnson’s Baby Powder, and if you or someone you know has a bottle from this lot, discontinue use of the product immediately.
