Confused about Medicare? Well, join the club of the bewildered wandering around online to get to the bottom of it. I’ve heard of Plan A, B & D. Part A is suppose to cover inpatient hospital stays, also care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care. Part B is to cover certain services from your doctor, your outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services. So what about Part D?

Part D adds prescription drug coverage to:

  • Original Medicare
  • Some Medicare Cost Plans
  • Some Medicare Private-Fee-for-Service Plans
  • Medicare Medical Savings Account Plans
