Shelter in Indian Trail is Collecting Items for Animals Affected by Australian Wildfires
The fires have scorched an area twice the size of Maryland and a local rescue is helping to give back to the animals in need.
Carolina Waterfowl Rescue in Indian Trail, North Carolina is collecting items to send to Australia. Some of the items needed are Joey pouches, Bird/Rodent nests, Bat wraps, Carry bag pouches and blankets. You can see the full list on their Facebook post below. This is a great opportunity to support the tons of animals impacted by the wildfires ravaging the country.
Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is also looking for volunteers to sponsor postage for the project and help cover shipping costs.
