Know Your Rights Event Saturday
Mecklenburg Council of Elders is having its famous: Know Your Rights event on Saturday, June 13th from 9:00 am til 3:00 pm on YouTube. What will be different is no live audience this time, but mark your calendars to join in to learn things you never knew about your rights.
In compliance with social distancing, this group will only allow the presenters and their crew in the building, along with a hand full of volunteers. And, each presenter will be given a time slot to deliver their presentation while Streaming Live directly to YouTube. Once a segment is over the presenter(s) is “free to go” and the next segment will go on with brief intermissions to allow for exiting. The intermissions will include a brief commercial blast by our moderator.
Mecklenburg Council of Elders is a non-profit organization working within the Criminal Justice sector. We provide services to residents of Mecklenburg County by way of seminars and events designed to raise awareness of their rights and options as citizens- regardless of past involvement with the law. Thank you for your interest and support of our initiatives.
