Chicago Cubs Fans Make Epic Beer Cup Snake
America…WE’RE BACK! This past weekend, the city of Chicago/state of Illinois lifted all Coronavirus restrictions and Wrigley Field, legendary home of The Cubs was allowed to have full fan capacity. And the fans? They took out over a year’s frustration on the concession stands. <g> Captured forever by ESPN cameras on Sunday, the famed “Bleacher Bums” stacked beer cup on top of beer cup to create a massive Beer Cup Snake.
The snake eventually reached from the scoreboard down to the center field wall. And since I know you are curious, here’s the facts: the snake, based on 2400 beer cups (at $12 each) cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $28,800.
