Tyler bought a 100X The Cash ticket for $20 last week when she stopped for a Dr. Pepper. The winning ticket was purchased at the Han-Dee-Hugo location in Wilmington on Carolina Beach Road.
She told lottery officials “I’m going to try and start my own business. I was thinking about doing community van services. There are so many elderly people who need rides and a lot of people don’t have family around.” Tyler claimed her prize Monday and opted to take the $1.2 million lump sum.
