It has been a few years since Hollywood has given us a truly great Christmas movie, but two of the more recent holiday blockbusters are back in theaters this month. I think it’s reasonable to call Elf and The Polar Express modern Christmas classics. Both are getting limited runs at select Cinemark theaters, including some in North Carolina.
The 2003 comedy Elf, starring Will Ferrell, runs until December 7th at Cinemark Movie Bistro in Charlotte, and all the way through December 14th at Cinemark Tinseltown USA in Salisbury. The Polar Express, released in 2004, will be showing at Salisbury’s Cinemark Tinseltown USA on Sunday, December 11th and Wednesday, December 14th only.
It’ll be fun to see both of those holiday favorites in the theater again. The Polar Express definitely benefits from the big screen. Tickets are on sale now at Cinemark.com and on the Cinemark app. To find showtimes and other participating theaters, CLICK HERE. You can see the trailers for both of those Christmas movies and many others in the streaming guide below.
