Chicago Cubs Crank Morgan Wallen Ahead Of First No-Hitter In Spring Training
Morgan keeps fans screaming for more in stadiums all over the country.
Spring Training is now in full swing in Arizona and Florida, where Major League Baseball teams are trying to shake off the rust, get back into shape, and figure out who will be on their Opening Day roster.
On Friday night the Cubs’ pitching staff didn’t look too bad. Justin Steele, who could be the Cubs’ best pitcher by the end of the season, made his first Spring Training start last night against the San Diego Padres. He led the team to what would be the first no-hitter in franchise history for Spring Training.
So what is the secret to Steele’s success? Morgan Wallen. The pitcher said he was listening to One Thing At A Time on repeat yesterday. When asked about it, Steele said, “Oh my goodness, I’ve been listening to it non-stop. On my way to the field in the morning and on the way to the here for this game, that’s all I’ve been bumping is the new Morgan Wallen.”
Morgan Wallen's 'One Thing At A Time' Album Is Out
Morgan Wallen releases his 36-song album One Thing At A Time today (3/3), and tonight he plays a free arena show concert for fans in Nashville.
When he announced the new project, he said in a statement, “This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows. It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative, and hip-hop. There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music, and production ideas, and these are the songs that felt right to me. It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back in the studio to lay this out for my fans.”
