North Carolina Music Fans Will Attend Confluence Conference & Festival
Music lovers in Charlotte, North Carolina are marking their calendars for October 18th and 19th to attend the 2023 Confluence conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. AvidXchange NC Music Factory will open its doors in multiple venues. Charlotte, North Carolina is no stranger to music superstars producing talent in various genres. Anthony Hamilton is an example of a Grammy Award-winning R&B singer and songwriter known for his soulful voice. He was born in Charlotte and has achieved success with hits like “Charlene” and “Comin’ from Where I’m From.” Fantasia Barrino started off as an R&B and gospel singer who gained fame as the winner of the third season of American Idol. She hails from High Point, North Carolina, which is near Charlotte. Petey Pablo emerged from North Carolina and is known for his hit songs like “Raise Up” and “Freek-a-Leek.” He spent part of his childhood in Greenville, North Carolina, which is not far from Charlotte.
Confluence debuted in 2019 at the U.S. National Whitewater Center
Back in 2019, this event was produced by the Whitewater Center, MaxxMusic, and Midwood Entertainment. Confluence featured two great days of panel discussions and keynotes and dozens of performances by a diverse lineup of Charlotte artists. After a pandemic-induced hiatus, Music Everywhere CLT is proud to relaunch Confluence, bigger and better than ever.
More music stars to mention are The Avett Brothers. They are an American folk-rock band, that played a significant role in North Carolina’s music scene. While not originally from Charlotte, they have performed in the area and have a dedicated following.
