An Urgent Need To Foster Or Adopt Pets In North Carolina’s Largest City
If there is one thing we can all agree on, The Tanner In the Morning Show loves animals. We know many of you do too. There is an urgent need to foster or adopt pets in North Carolina’s largest city.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Animal Care and Control is continuing renovations on its main facility. Because of this a temporary shelter is needed. Even better, all these animals could be adopted and find their forever homes.
This for now shelter is located in Southend just off Remount Road in Charlotte. The new shelter would be good for pets waiting. It will provide extra kennel space during the renovations at the main facility according to our source, Channel 3.
You don’t even need to come down to the shelter to foster or adopt. It can all be done online. The Toomey Avenue location is open everyday from 9a. to 5 pm. You must make an appointment to visit the animals.
Hopefully the dogs and cats will be comfortable at the temporary shelter until phase one of the main renovations are completed. The renovations at the main shelter are expected to be complete by November 1. To get more details, read all the information from Channel 3 right here.
