Volunteer Krystal Hulett Knows How To Serve Her Community
In 2021 North Carolina data indicated that more than 4,500 people experiencing homelessness and staying in emergency shelters. The stats go further with 56% being male and at least 43% of the stats are female. We’re giving Krystal Hulett her flowers for serving with compassion as a volunteer with FACET Services, Inc. Hulett serves as Vice President and Board Member with FACET Services Inc. giving selflessly. For the past 10 years, her work day consists of being a Senior Implementation Coordinator at Wells Fargo. She slays as a mom of her seven-year-old son, Cameron, and knows the many obstacles women face. Hulett chose to serve FACET Services, Inc. because they provide women with the tools to sustain themselves & their families as they go through unique situations. If you would like to donate to help FACET achieve its mission you can visit their official website here.
Hulett knows that women are most likely to become homeless because of domestic violence, relationship breakdown, financial difficulty, and limited superannuation can make things more vulnerable to being homeless. Certain groups may be at a higher risk of homelessness, such as African American women, Veterans, Indigenous people, and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
FACET Services. Inc. has three pillars that hold up its foundation. The education component offers interviewing skills, resume writing, financial literacy, and wellness. Equipping is the second pillar with recognition of women during their Legends Luncheon, and transition kits. Lastly, there’s the empowering pillar that mentors women, along with their famous vision board parties. FACET Services, Inc. stands for Faith in Action Community and Educational Transition (FACET) Services, Inc. They’re a responsible and outstanding 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, focused on providing specialized resources to assist homeless women, and those at risk of becoming homeless in the Charlotte community, in transition from homelessness to independence. Donating to FACET Services, Inc. is a win-win for this deserving 501c3 nonprofit.
