Tyler Hubbard Comes Full Circle On Kane Brown Tour
When Kane Brown kicks off his 2024 “In The Air Tour” later this month (3/28), he has a handful of opening acts. One of his direct support acts is Tyler Hubbard, and the tour brings things full circle for Tyler.
FGL Tour
Hubbard told us in an interview earlier this week that he has toured with Brown before. He said, “I’ve known Kane for a while. He actually opened for us (Florida Georgia Line). I don’t know how many years ago now, five or six years ago. We were one of his first tours.”
Tyler continued, “One of our first shows together, I was out shooting basketball with him, just hanging out and kinda getting to know him, and I was asking him, ‘How long have you been doing this? How long have you been playing shows?’ and he was like, ‘Well, this is my sixth show ever.’ And we were like, ‘Dude, six, like six?’ and he goes, ‘Yeah.'”
He added, “I’m like, ‘Okay, buddy, good luck. There’s only thirty thousand people out there tonight, so good luck.'”

Hubbard saw a big future for this young native Tennessee kid. He offered, “It was incredible to watch him take on the challenge and grow a ton on that tour. Now, it’s full circle. Now I’m getting to open up for him, and I watch him play, and I’m just like, ‘Wow, he’s really grown into something special.’ He’s just an awesome dude; he’s a great artist. I think he has really found himself and knows who he is and what he wants to be.”
Kane On Top
Tyler loves what he saw (and sees) in Brown. He said, “It’s just cool to see because it’s not every day that you get to see artists keep it together and be consistent and put out great music and maintain a family and do what he’s doing.”
He concluded, “I have a lot of love for Kane. I’m excited to be back out with him. I know we’re gonna have a good time.”
